In the community improvement and service spirit of the Martin Luther King holiday, beginning Saturday, January 18 through Monday, January 20th, The National Museum of the Great Lakes will offer FREE Admission to their 11,000 square foot interior exhibits.
Originally conceived as a way to give back to those who generously supported our mission through the COVID-19 Pandemic, each year the event has continued growing. It has become an annual invitation to community members to start their new year off with Great Lakes history.
This promotion provides free admission to the museum exhibits only. The Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship, and the Museum Tug Ohio are closed for the season.
Visitors usually spend 1 to 2 hours touring the museum exhibits.
