Admission to the National Museum of the Great Lakes, Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and Museum Tug Ohio.*
The hour on your ticket is your check-in time. You can arrive at any time during that hour, but we do ask that you arrive during your allotted time. Visits to the museum and the museum ships take about 2 hours, so our last tickets will be sold for the 3pm hour. You may want to arrive closer to 3pm for that ticket, to make the most of your visit.
The member ticket is for members of the National Museum of the Great Lakes. You can become a member by clicking here. Membership is a great way to support the museum, and especially for families can be a great way to save money on admission.
*Due to their historical accuracy, the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the Museum Tug Ohio are not ADA accessible. Narrow, steep staircases are common throughout the vessels and may provide difficulties in accessibility for some. The museum exhibits are fully ADA accessible and we offer reduced admission to the museum only here.
